The past few years have been ones of change, transition and preparation as we have been positioning ourselves to better serve our clients and grow our business.  Some of the improvements worth noting are:

Implemented a complete shop management software package that handles everything from quoting to job planning to accounting

Improved the layout of the shop floor to make it consistent with lean manufacturing principles – this allows for better communication and increased throughput

Developed and implemented a real time Visual Scheduling System
●

Updated our Quality Systems to be compliant with the ISO 2000 standard (we are presently awaiting certification)
●

Developed Kanban’s (inventory stages) for our repeat orders allowing us to reduce lead time, increase on time delivery, and meet the demands of production facilities
●

Installed a state of the art server and networked all of our computers and some of our equipment
